Here’s a possible (plane?) or flying saucer of the future… intended to make air travel more environmentally friendly. Aviation accounts for more than 2% of global carbon dioxide emissions and it is expected to climb to 5% by 2050.

This “eco-friendly” aircraft from the future was designed by the CleanEra project, in the Netherlands. Now, they’re either thinking up these crazy ideas while getting baked at a coffee shop or they might really be on to something here…
