the Australian government implemented a high tech $84 million Internet porn filter, yet it took Tom Wood, a 16 year old high school student, just 30 minutes to crack it. But, he doesn’t just crack the filter, he makes sure the toolbar stays in tact, fooling parents into thinking that it’s still working.
In response, the Australian government, embarrassed I’m sure, attempted to remedy the situation by installing a new filter called Intergrad, but within 40 minutes of it going live, Tom had it beat too.
It’s these kids that governments worldwide make friends with real quick, offering them plush jobs, even if just to keep tabs on them….
