I’ve been to Amsterdam three times and I had no idea that one could rent a pedal boat to explore the canals… I may have to blame the space cakes for missing that one… I’ve seen the town from every other angle, spending time at the museums, visiting Anne Frank’s house of course… the Van Gough… twice with friends… and once alone on business… clocking hours at some coffee-shops.. my all time favorite — Coffee Shop 36, for a friendly relaxed environment, but even more for the big open windows in the back of the place, to sit by and enjoy a ridiculous view of the canal and shops…
…and Barney’s Breakfast Bar, one of the only coffee shops that serve both Purple Haze and eggs & sausage, and the food is good!!
It was real cool to find out about these pedal boats.. knowing how much of a twisted maze that town is, it would make for a real fun day. My last adventure was with Cole and Evan and adventure isn’t even the word.. if you’ve never been, you have to check it out.. there’s something there for everyone….
