If you haven’t seen BBC’s Planet Earth series, you must…….
With a production budget of over $25 million, it took 5 years to produce, using cameras that are normally reserved for some of the most expensive feature films. At times, the scenes were shot from a helicopter over 3 miles high so as not to disturb the migrating animals below… with lenses that I couldn’t even fathom, the footage is so damn incredible!!
There are 11 episodes, which include animals and locations that have never been filmed before. ….a few scenes that are considered disturbing by some viewers, an elephant being brought down by Lions, and Wolves chasing down Caribou… but it’s part of nature. And if ever a program was to really show you what goes on in nature, it’s this one…
Get a copy for yourself, for your family, and a few more for stocking stuffers this Christmas. I promise that I’m not steering you wrong with this, you will most certainly appreciate every minute of it.

I love this show. There is nothing else that compares to watching Discovery and Animal Planet on HD (except maybe for NFL Football on Sunday!!!)
