The gallery has grown by 2,000 photos in the past year to 8,200.. that’s nuts, it’s hard to comprehend 8,200 photos… if you watched them in a slideshow at two seconds a piece, you’d be sitting there for four and a half hours. It would be an entertaining four and a half hours, no doubt, but shit that’s a lot of photos. cool, this is good stuff, and I look forward to the point when there are double that amount.. if all goes according to plan, we’ll be on this site bullshitting about our grandkids one day…
I really like the way the bulletin board is going, it has become the meeting spot it was supposed to be… and over time more of our friends will be involved… Of course the most popular of all topics is sports related, I suppose that I shouldn’t be surprised… and even though I’m not much of a sports fan, that was a very amusing, (tense at times), but all around very interesting thread.. it’s still so strange to me how passionate some of you are about your team.
The most recent addition to the bulletin board is Stock Talk in the Clubs & Interests section. For those that are interested in throwing some ideas around please stop by, even if it’s just for a virtual group hug during this ugly dip we’re in. Some of you in the industry have a lot more knowledge in the area, and as long as sharing your ideas doesn’t conflict with work I’d love to hear from you over time!!
I have hundreds of mini movies from over the years, and stacks of DV tapes from various trips, vacation houses, etc… so I’ll be back on the movie kick soon, compressing more videos to post in that section.
…and I’ll be posting to the blog more often as well. A past entry was about one of the many abandoned towns in PA. We should definitely plan a day trip to a few of those spooky places!!
