I bounced over to the Wild Style Exhibit during lunch today… if you’re into old school street art…. definitely consider checking it out… I’m a big fan of Keith Haring, so it was a real treat…

I wrote about it a few weeks ago in the Graffiti Pioneers blog entry, but in case you missed that one — a large mural was recently discovered in an old building that they’re renovating in Soho…. in an apartment where the artists below used to hang out often, enjoy meals together, and get high…

Piece by piece they’re carefully removing the wall and displaying it at 151 Wooster until it finds a permanent home at the Guggenheim. The findings inspired people to lend pieces to the gallery, from their own collections - including Keith Haring, Jean Michael Basquiat, Fab 5 Freddy, Kenny Scharf, and Ero.

I absolutely loved it and could have stayed for hours if I didn’t have to get back to work…
