A trip like this may be a bit easier for the single folks, but hopefully with enough heads up time you will be able to make plans for a babysitter or other arrangements that you would need in order to join us. We had such a good time in 2006 when we did this last, and it would be so great if you can join us for the experience this time….
We were there for Chris and Cate’s wedding in July 2006 and I’ll repeat myself by saying it could be one of most beautiful places on Earth. I remember being young and going to the “country” (upstate NY) with my family… but since, I’ve come to realize that Tuscany is the true “country”.
Life is moving way too fast so don’t pass up this trip too quickly… put a little thought into going… I really believe that you won’t regret it, and will remember taking advantage of an opportunity to sip wine in Italy with some old friends for the rest of your life..
and it’s a whole compound… we can spread out… hang out in smaller groups then meet up for dinner… whatever is most comfortable for all…
It will be a similar trip as last time, so you can meet us in Tuscany, or if you’re interested in doing the whole trek, we’re going to start off in Amsterdam again for 3 days of good ole’ fun, then head south to Berlin for 2 days of exploring and rocking out, only to then look forward to a relaxing 5 days of sightseeing and rest in Tuscany. I created a rough draft of an itinerary, in which I ask for your feedback and will fine tune it right away so we can start working on flights. Hotel reservations and fees can hold off for a bit, which will help some of our pockets anyway…

no, most college Alumni don’t get together in Europe for a few days a decade later… but we’ve always been a unique group and this will no doubt be a trip of a lifetime.
I can’t wait.
