for years we’ve been going up to Killington to ski and every few runs we’d stop at the waffle haus for a snack…. it was such a treat to see the same shack at Mt Snow this past week!!
knowing how much DiMare loves those waffles covered with caramelized sugar, I had to take a photo… I was sitting on one of the nearby benches with my little brother sipping on some hot apple cider and got a nice shot of it with my iPhone.
it wasn’t until two days later that a complete stranger made the connection that he took the same photo from a different angle at the very same moment. nuts!!

I posted my photo on my tumblr, and Soup re-blogged it. A guy named Adam who happens to be following Soup’s tumblr saw my photo and couldn’t believe it…

“Holy Shit! so I posted a photo earlier today; from Mt. Snow this weekend. Then I noticed that Soup reblogged my photo, and pointed to the photo above, by his friend Marc. Take a look at my photo below and then Marc’s. Notice anything? We took pics at the same exact time! The girl on the left in his photo is posing for mine!!!! Don’t believe me? Look at the guy behind her in the olive jacket and the helmet. I can’t even begin to say how coincidentally nuts this is. It means something. I’m just not sure what.
BTW - If you’ve never had a waffle with caramelized pearl sugar on it, I suggest you try one. Immediately.”
definitely one of the crazier coincidences I’ve encountered, and it made a humungous Internet seem small for just a moment….
