I wanted to end the long silence (I think my Mom is the only one that reads this blog anyway) and mention that I brought Shady’s remains home yesterday. She had a private cremation and I didn’t anticipate how much better it would make me feel to have her home with me again. sure, it’s just a box on my mantle… but It’s sorta like she’s really here, as strange as that sounds..
The bond we had was indescribable and she will be so missed. let me say again how grateful I am for all the kind words and support so many of you offered over the last month!!
of course Shady will come up in blog entries from time to time… not with sadness, but to celebrate her life, and to remember.
for now, I will move on with my writings, some of the topics you may find interesting, so come by every so often…
